At FWB Nazarene, we believe that Christ calls us to treat all people with dignity and love, and to work for the good of our community at every opportunity. Jesus announced that the Kingdom of God is near, which means that we live and work in God’s kingdom even in this life. Jesus described his work in this same kingdom in this way: ““The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to bring good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to let the oppressed go free, to proclaim the year of the Lord’s favor.” Below are some ways that we are involved in serving neighbors.
